Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III Best Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras

If you love photography faraway of fast-paced sports or zoom in for an intimate portrait. I recommend the Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon for you.

The Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM Lens is a relatively small, very light and very cheap lens for this focal length range. Build quality of the Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM Lens is mediocre . Lightness is the benefit, but you won’t find smooth zoom and focus rings. I wouldn’t want to subject the Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM Lens to a lot of abuse as I doubt it would survive.

The optical system, construction, and exterior are the same as the EF 75-300 mm f/4-5.6 III USM’s. The difference is that it uses a DC motor instead of a USM to drive the AF. As with all Canon lens, this 75-300 model carries a one-year warranty.Image quality from the Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM Lens is also mediocre.

As of this writing there is a major retailer that has this lense for under $100.00, anyway this lense is excellent. People scream it has no IS, etc… It doesnt need IS unless you are shooting at very low shutter speeds in low light, and if so why are you not using a tripod? I took this out today for a test drive along side my 55-250mm IS lense, and this lense competes just fine with its IS cousin. Seriously unless you just have $$$ to burn on L lenses, grab this one today, especially as if you hurry you might be able to “target” that sale price that is under $100.00. :)

Great product and great price

By Khurrum Siddique

I just got this product and attached it to my Canon 60D. Works great. Focusing is very fast. Do not notice any difference, with the kit 18 – 135 mm in terms of stability with maximum zoom. Also this is a DC motor rather than USM but did not notice any difference on that front either. Pictures are sharp and actually in color I think better than the kit 18 – 135 mm. Moreover, I got this at Target for $100, so I don’t think in terms of price it can be beaten.

Overall, in terms of sharpness, color, value for money very happy.
